• Madison Reorganization Meeting Opens With Invocation, Swears In  Council Members  and Volunteer Recognition (tapinto.net) — Madison’s new municipal year is officially underway after the borough’s annual reorganization meeting, which opened with an invocation and recognition of long-serving volunteers. Mayor Conley, local officials, and Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill attended as John Forte was named council president and standing committee leadership for community affairs, finance, health, public safety, public works, and utilities was set for 2026.
