Cops Shoot Knife-Wielding Man Dead, Find 3 Bodies In Home, Reports Say
"Horrific" crime is being investigated by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
PISCATAWAY, NJ — A knife-wielding man was shot dead by police who then discovered three people dead inside a home Monday, according to published reports.
When police responded to a 5:30 p.m. 911 call, a man charged at them with a knife and when tasers failed to stop him, the officers shot and killed him, according to ABC News.
After the shooting, the officers discovered three people dead inside the home, the report said.

According to News12, four of five police officers at the scene were taken to the hospital for evaluation and are expected to be OK.
"We are aware of the horrific crime in Middlesex County tonight. All our members that were involved are ok and being evaluated,” NJ PBA President Peter Andreyev said. “Thank you to all who have reached to offer support."

The Piscataway Police Department described the incident as a homicide, and said it “appears to be an isolated incident.”
No information on the victims was released Monday night.
