Poll: Are Your Train Crossings Safe?
NJ Transit task force working on increasing rail safety.

A task force formed by NJ Transit began meeting on Wednesday to focus on what can be done to increase rail safety at crossings, according to a report by MyCentralJersey.com.
Among the different aspects the force will be looking at will be if any of the 314 NJ Transit grade crossings may need engineering changes to make them safer.
The group's first meeting took place while someone was struck and killed by an Amtrack train west of Hamilton station.
