Screening at Madison Movie Theater to Benefit Animal Shelter

'Side by Side by Sondheim': The Madison Recreation Department and Playwrights Theatre present "Side by Side by Sondheim" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Madison High School. Film Screening: A special charity screening of "Delivering the Goods" to benefit the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Clearview Cinemas in Madison, 14 Lincoln Place. The film was written by a Mt. Pleasant volunteer. The screening includes a Q&A with the writers. Tickets $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

Car Wash: Madison High School Marching Dodgers are putting down their instruments for their 4th annual fundraising car wash scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday outside Hollenbach Family Chiropractic, at 250 Main Street, across from Coviello's Garden Center. $10 per car.
