Skate with an Olympian in Madison
Madison's JoJo Starbuck to Teach Adult Skating Lessons at Richard Codey Arena beginning in September

It may still be the dog days of summer, but cool relief is on the way! Starting in early fall, two time Olympian, world medalist and national champion JoJo Starbuck will offer adult ice skating lessons at the Richard Codey Arena (Essex Parks Recreation Center) in West Orange. From September through April, JoJo will teach “Great 8’s” and “Cool Workout” classes, both perfect for adults skaters of all ages and fitness levels.
JoJo’s Great 8’s classes give skaters the chance to learn the compulsory figure 8’s, the foundation of technique, strength and elegance in skating. During the Cool Workout classes, skaters learn stroking, gliding, turns, spins and more all at their own pace.

Both classes offer students a wealth of physical benefits, including a stronger core and legs, increased flexibility and improved balance and posture. Perhaps more importantly, students will reap the reward of true joy that follows an hour spent gliding on the ice.
Registration is now open. To sign up, please email info@jojostarbuck.com or visit www. jojostarbuck.com.
