MADISON, NJ — Police in Madison are reminding residents of a speed limit change that the borough council approved last fall. The Borough Engineer and police had recommended to reduce the speed limit on Kings Road from 30 miles per hour to 25. Council approved an ordinance amending the <a href="https://ecode360.com/MA0608/laws/LF1998795.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">borough code</a> on September 27, changing the speed limit on Kings between Prospect Street and the Chatham Borough corporate line. This means all of Kings Road, from Madison Avenue through Chatham to Lafayette Avenue, is now 25 miles per hour.
