Students, Pros Perform 'Side by Side by Sondheim'

'Side by Side by Sondheim': The Madison Recreation Department and Playwrights Theatre present "Side by Side by Sondheim" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Madison High School. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and children, free for senior citizens. For more information see the event listing.

Summer Seminar Series: The 29th Summer Seminar Series at the Madison Public Library continues with a lecture at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The lectures are free and open to the public.

Madison Farmers Market: The farmers' market is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday on Green Village Road off Main Street.

Historic Walking Tours: The Historic Preservation Commission and Historical Society are offering free historic downtown walking tours at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday. Tours will last 45 minutes to an hour. Those interested in attending should gather at the farmers' market.
