Veterinary Dentistry Specialist Opens Office In Morris County

MADISON, NJ — A veterinary office dedicated to pet dental health has opened up in Morris County, with board-certified staff providing advanced dentistry, oral surgery and more services for companion animals.

Veterinary Dentistry Specialists (VDS) can serve pets who might require dental services beyond what a normal veterinarian offers, such as extractions, tooth restorations, endodontics, and oral surgery — as well as anesthesiology. The office has more than a dozen veterinarians on staff, and almost every doctor is board-certified in dentistry or anesthesia, VDS said.

If you are a pet owner, VDS can collaborate with your regular vet's office to get a referral to their specialists, and to make sure you and your pet(s) have what you need to support their oral health.

Veterinary Dental Specialists has their office at 240 Main Street in Madison, which is open by appointment Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office opened on July 8.

There is one other VDS office in New Jersey, down in Mount Laurel; the other two locations are in the Philadelphia and Houston areas. The Mount Laurel office also provides veterinary cardiology services, even for pets who do not require dental work.
