25th Annual Great Backyard Bird Count Coming This Weekend
The Bergen County Audubon Society announced its annual Great Backyard Bird Count, where residents can collect data on birds as they walk.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The Bergen County Audubon Society is announcing its 25th annual Great Backyard Bird Count on Feb. 20 at DeKorte Park.
Each year residents are welcome to join the walk as they watch and count various birds. Those who attend are asked to report their data to organizations that use the observations to help scientists understand global bird populations, according to a statement.
The bird walk will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
