'Armed And Dangerous' Hackensack Shooting Suspect Sought
Authorities say they have issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday in Hackensack.

HACKENSACK, NJ - Authorities say they have issued an arrest warrant for a 20-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend in Hackensack.
Anyone who spots the suspect, Jairo Echeverry, should "not try to engage him," as authorities consider him armed and dangerous, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said on Monday afternoon.
But if anyone has seen him or known of his whereabouts, authorities ask they contact Hackensack police at 201-646-7777.

A warrant for Echeverry's arrest was issued following an investigation into Sunday's shooting, the prosecutor's office said.

At 1:19 a.m., Hackensack police received a 911 call reporting a possible shooting outside of a home located at 66 Grove Street and responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 22-year-old Christian Pacas, who was pronounced dead, the prosecutor's office said.
The incident remains under investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and Hackensack Police Department, according to the prosecutor's office.
