2 Crashes In Franklin Lakes In 3 Days Lead To Drunk Driving Arrests: Police

2 crashes in Franklin Lakes this month led to 2 DWI arrests, police say.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Two crashes in three days in Franklin Lakes resulted in separate arrests this month, police in that town said.

According to Franklin Lakes police, just after 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 5, police were sent to a single-car motor vehicle crash on High Mountain Road.

They came upon a Hyundai, they said. After further investigation, Heather Richardson, 49, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, they said. She was also issued multiple traffic summonses, police said.

On Dec. 7, just before 2:30 a.m., police were sent to a single-car motor vehicle crash on Franklin Avenue, they said. They came upon a Honda CRV at the scene.

They arrested Derek Muoio, 22, of Franklin Lakes, and charged him with driving while intoxicated, they said.
