Under the theme of “women who advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion,” the month’s signature event will feature a panel discussion with New Jersey State Senator Holly Schepisi, Esq. (R-39) and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center CEO Deborah Visconi after a showing of “Crone: The Wise Woman Hypothesis,” on Tuesday, March 19 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in room S-138 at the College’s main campus (400 Paramus Road, Paramus). The film offers evolutionary evidence that women have leadership advantages that could benefit societal systems if correctly leveraged. Members of the film’s production team will also attend the March 19 screening and serve on the panel.
Eileen Kean, Esq., president of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey, Wellesley College professor Smith Radhakrishnan, Ph.D., and members of the Ramapo-Munsee Lenape Nation will also speak at the College during the month. The College will screen films such as “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry,” “MissRepresentation” and “RGB” as well. All events are free and open to the public.
