Directed by Leigh Jonaitis, Ed.D, with fight scenes choreographed by Eireann Ingerson, the play tells the story of average high schooler Agnes Evans dealing with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons and Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world where her sister found refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and 1990s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within.
Performances will take place in the Ender Hall Lab Theatre on Friday, February 23, Saturday, February 24, Thursday, February 29, Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances take place on Saturday, February 24 and Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m.
