RAMSEY, NJ — A 18-year-old Ramsey man charged with making terroristic threats against a Bergen County high school has been extradited to Bergen County from New York, jail records show.

Luke Natoli was first arrested in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. last Tuesday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

He was arrested after Montvale Police reported someone had threatened to bring a gun to a Bergen County high school's sports practice on April 12, Musella said.

Natoli was charged with second-degree false public alarm, third-degree terroristic threats, and harassment, which is a disorderly persons offense, according to Musella.

Montvale Police first alerted Musella's office that "an unknown telephone caller using technology to anonymize his calling line identity ('caller ID') placed a telephone call to a Bergen County high school official claiming that he was going to bring a gun to a sport's practice that afternoon," Musella said.

Officials have not released the name of the high school.

"First responders and school officials took measures to ensure the safety of the campus while members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit and the Montvale Police Department initiated an investigation to trace the call," Musella said.

Natoli is being held without bond at Bergen County Jail in Hackensack.

NJ.com reports Natoli's social media lists him as a student at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Patch has reached out to the college for confirmation.
