Florida Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of 2 Children: Prosecutors

BERGEN COUNTY — A Florida man was charged with aggravated sexual assault of two children in Hackensack and Westwood, Bergen County prosecutors said.

An investigation by the Hackensack Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit found that Francisco Barrera-Capistran, 36, sexually assaulted two children, both under the age of 13-years-old.

Barrera-Capistran was charged on Feb. 14 with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault by contact and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
