Mahwah DPW Redevelopment Hearing Postponed Until Jan. 12

Correction: The previous version of this article stated the delay was for an investigation. The updated story states the delay was simply to ensure Mahwah residents would be able to attend.

The hearing for the Mahwah DPW redevelopment plan has been delayed until Jan. 12, according to Mahwah Suburban News.

Planning Board Chairman Todd Sherer told Patch the delay was a courtesy to Mahwah residents since the initial hearing was scheduled during Christmas week.

“We want to have as many residents as possible [at the hearing],” Sherer said.

The redevelopment plan calls for luxury apartments on the current site of the DPW after it is relocated.
