Mahwah police said magic mushrooms and cannabis oil were among the items found in a search of an out-of-stater's vehicle.
MAHWAH, NJ — An out-of-stater was caught with a high quantity of weed and shrooms in Mahwah, according to authorities.
Kobe Rockwell, of North Carolina, was pulled over Monday when he was found with more than 100 pounds of marijuana, 30 pounds of potent dabs, several pounds of psilocybin "magic mushrooms," a non-prescribed opioid medicine, and narcotics packaging materials, police officials said.
Rockwell, 24, was traveling south on Route 17 in a Chrysler minivan, when an officer stopped him for multiple traffic violations, Chief Stephen Jaffe said. Police observed, what the chief said, were physical indicators of criminal activity, and deployed a drug-sniffing dog.
