MAHWAH, NJ — Students return to the Mahwah public schools this Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024. (Always check with the district for calendar updates.)

Oct. 3: Rosh Hashana, school closed.

Oct. 14: Columbus Day/Professional development, school closed.

Nov. 1: Diwali, schools closed.

Nov. 4-6 Teacher conferences and single session day for preK-5 only

Nov. 7-8: Schools closed, teachers' convention.

Nov. 27: Single session day.

Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving, schools closed.

Dec. 20: Single session day.

Dec. 23-Jan. 1: Schools closed.

Jan. 2, 2025: Schools reopen.
