Many Bergen County Schools Closed 2-3 Days This Week
With Election Day, Veterans Day, and NJEA convention coming up, kids may be home from school for several days in the coming week.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Parents may be scrambling this week as kids are off from school two days in some districts, three days in others.
In New Jersey, most students are off on Thursday, Nov. 9, and Friday, Nov. 10, because teachers are holding their annual New Jersey Education Association (union) convention, taking place in Atlantic City. The convention has been held each November for decades. Veterans Day will also be celebrated in some places on that Friday, although it officially takes place Nov. 11.
Several school districts are also closed for Election Day this Tuesday.
