The Mahwah Thunderbirds 3rd and 4th grade travel team won the Midland Park Blast off tournament.
The Mighty T-birds were undefeated in all five games they played. Four of them, including the championship game, were played Sunday, June 8.
Congratulations to Coach Jim Amell, Co-head Coaches Brian Forgette and Tony Nista, and Coaches Tony Simonelli and Jeff Swedelson, and players Erin Pryor, Holly Amell, Haley Kolich, Brooke Forgette, Erin Van Alstyne, Carly Simonelli, Isabella Pinto, Adrianna Devine, Emily Swedelson, Emma Kronewitter, Olivia Sybesma and Cayla Nista.
