Report: Cops Find Pills, Molly After Mahwah Man Attacks Girlfriend's Car with Golf Club
Man was arrested on assault, weapons, and drug charges, report said.
A Mahwah man is facing assault, weapons, and drug charges after a fight with his girlfriend that allegedly ended with him taking a golf club to her car, NorthJersey.com reported.
According to police, Efryn Rodriguez, 25, was arrested after police responded to a 22-year-old woman's domestic disturbance call at his house Sunday night, the report said. The woman told cops she and her boyfriend had had a verbal fight that turned physical, and ended with Rodriguez hitting her, and taking a six iron golf club to her car, the report said.
When cops responded to Rodriguez's room, they found a shot gun, glass bong, digital scale, a bottle of prescription drugs, and a bag of what is believed to be Molly, the report said.
He is being held in the Bergen County Jail on $5,000 bail and will face a long list of charges in municipal court Tuesday, the report said.
