Want To Swim? Lakes At A Bergen County Park In Mahwah Are Open To All, For A Fee
The 'Lakes At Darlington County Park' in Mahwah are open to people inside and outside Bergen County, for a fee. See the schedule and more.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Want to go for a swim somewhere a little different?
"There’s no better place in Bergen County to beat the heat this summer than the lakes at Darlington!" noted Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco in a social media post this weekend.
The are daily fees for Bergen County adults and kids, and fees that are slightly higher for people outside of the county.

The lakes opened on Memorial Day weekend and will stay open through Labor Day, although for now through late June they're only open on weekends.
"Nestled in the Mountain of Mahwah, come relax on our sand beaches or conquer our world-class Splash Zone Wibit obstacle course for refreshing fun, fit for the entire family!" Tedesco said.

He noted that the swimming lakes will be open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through June 30, and then open daily through Labor Day.
Darlington County Park is a 127-acre park in Mahwah.
