WEATHER ALERT: Mahwah's Hour-by-Hour Forecast of 'Late Season' Snow

The Township can expect to see 2 to 4 inches of snow Friday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday after “a late season snowfall” is expected to arrive on the first day of spring.

Mahwah is expected to see 2 to 4 inches of snow Friday, according to the NWS.

  • 12 p.m. - 31 degrees, feels like 24, snow
  • 3 p.m. - 31 degrees, feels like 25, heavy snow
  • 6 p.m. - 31 degrees, feels like 24, snow
  • 9 p.m. - 30 degrees, feels like 24, snow
  • 12 a.m. - 29 degrees, feels like 25, snow stops

The National Weather Service’s Winter Weather Advisory warns that “periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.”

“Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.”
