$108,000 Car Stolen In Manalapan
Manalapan police report the theft of a high-priced car and the theft of thousands in valuables in a home burglary.
MANALAPAN, NJ — A thief entered a township home and stole a car valued at $108,000 on Jan. 11, police here reported.
A 53-year-old Manalapan resident reported to police that someone entered an Elkridge Way residence and stole the high-value car on Jan. 11, police said in a weekly crime report.
Patrolman Brandon Rodrigues handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

Other thefts were reported in the township:
- Jan. 14: A Manalapan resident, 61, reported that a person burglarized an Andrea Court residence and removed items valued at approximately $23,000. Patrolman Michael DeCristofaro handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- Jan. 11: A Manalapan resident, 58, reported that three unknown people attempted to burglarize an Alyssa Lane residence. Patrolman Jason Vigneault handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- Jan. 11: A Manalapan resident, 66, reported that someone unlawfully withdrew approximately $17,000 from a bank account. Patrolman Christopher Capuzzo handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
In another matter, a Trenton resident, 25, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Jan. 12, following a motor vehicle crash on Monmouth Road in Manalapan. The man was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters, where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Hunter Mauro was the arresting officer.
