Theft, Assault, Fraud: Manalapan Police Blotter
Manalapan Police reported four incidents of theft from Nov. 20 through Nov. 25.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of theft, assault, fraud and more from Nov. 20 through Nov. 25.
Nov. 20
A 63-year-old Manalapan resident reported that on an unknown date and time, two stylus pens were removed from the victim’s home. The victim has claimed a monetary loss of $28 at this time.
At 11:09 p.m., Manalapan Patrolman Michael DeCristofaro tried to conduct a motor vehicle stop. The vehicle failed to stop and fled at a high rate of speed. Though officers did not pursue, the vehicle ended up colliding into a building. The driver was charged with eluding police and obstruction of justice and was turned over to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility.

Nov. 21
A Manalapan business owner reported that someone opened up a fraudulent bank account using their business name, which resulted in a monetary loss of $23,945.25.
A Manalapan business reported that someone failed to pay for $40 worth of gas.

An 18-year-old East Windsor resident reported that someone assaulted them by kicking them during a sports game. The victim reported injuries.
Nov. 25
A Manalapan business owner reported that a customer has not been making payments as agreed upon for services and product. This has been an ongoing issue since October 2025, and the customer’s identity is known. The total monetary loss is $19,855 at this time.
A 65-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a wedding band and engagement ring had gone missing from their home on Nov. 3. The wedding band and engagement ring are valued at $15,000.
