MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, all crimes and arrests from Dec. 15 to 21.

On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at approximately 4:33 p.m., a 42-year-old resident of East Windsor responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported providing cleaning services between August and December of 2021 and has not yet been paid for any services rendered, in the amount of approximately $6,000.00. Patrolman Everett McNulty handled the report.

On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 12:18 p.m., a 55-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that an unknown actor(s) gained access to their credit card account and attempted to complete an unauthorized purchase totaling $0.97. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, at 10:12 p.m., Patrolman John Lightbody and Patrolman Everett McNulty responded to the Middlesex County Correctional Institution and took custody of Erick O. Ortiz-Noyola, a 26-year-old, married, male resident of New Brunswick, who is employed as a custodian, regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Ortiz-Noyola was placed under arrest and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail, pending a court appearance. Patrolman Everett McNulty handled the arrest.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, at 2:04 p.m., a 38-year-old Manalapan resident reported that on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., an unknown actor made a purchase at a Route 9 business in the amount of $1,950.00 using a fraudulent credit card. Patrolman Jeff Emslie took the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, at approximately 10:47 a.m., a 51-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor removed an envelope containing $60.00 cash from a garbage pail on Rifkin Court. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis took the report.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, at approximately 8:55 a.m., Jaquail McMillian, a 24-year-old, unmarried, male resident of Neptune, New Jersey, who is employed as a navigator, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. McMillian
was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeff Emslie was the
arresting officer.

On Sunday, December 19, 2021, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an 87-year-old Manalapan resident reported providing their bank information via the internet as part of a promotional deal and subsequently being defrauded of $215.00. Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report.

On Sunday, December 19, 2021, at approximately 1:03 p.m., a 34-year-old resident of Manalapan Township reported that their vehicle was taken from a Deepwater Circle residence without their consent by an actor who previously had access to the vehicle. Patrolman James Guarino took the report.

On Sunday, December 19, 2021, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Patrolman James Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on Craig Road in Manalapan Township for a motor vehicle violation. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Shaquan Hadad, a 30-year-old, unmarried, male resident of Manalapan Township, who is employed as a forklift operator, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Monroe Township Municipal Court in the amount of $350.00. Mr. Hadad was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently released after posting bail. Patrolman James Guarino was the arresting officer.

On Friday, December 17, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m. a 54- year old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor contacted them posing as a representative of their mortgage company. As a result, they were defrauded of $1,800.00 Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report, which is pending further
investigation.

On Friday, December 17, 2021, at approximately 7:30 a.m., an 84-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported fraudulent credit card activity in the amount of $2,060.00 that took place between November 13, 2021 and December 8, 2021. Patrolman Anthony Cascella took the report.

On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 45-year-old Old Bridge resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported fraudulent credit card activity in the amount of $45.89. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the report.

On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a 73-year-old Colts Neck resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported discrepancies regarding their employer’s business account. Patrolman Ross Dessel took the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at approximately 9:50 p.m., a 44-year old resident of Freehold Township reported a purse being stolen while at Marshall’s, located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan. The value of the purse and its contents is unknown at this time. Patrolman William Dutton took the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at approximately 9:30 a.m., employees of the Knob Hill Golf Course, reported that unknown actor(s) spray painted graffiti on a sign in the area of Turnberry Drive. This incident is believed to have occurred around December 7, 2021 and it is currently unknown what the cost of the damage is. Patrolman Jean Letts took the report.
