On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 6:42 p.m., a 41-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a home contractor via text message. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actor(s) filed a fraudulent unemployment claim using the victim’s social security number. Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report.

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Patrolman Matthew Mattia and Patrolman Douglas Zike took custody of Terrance L. Boone, a 39-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male resident of Wrightstown, who had been arrested by the New Jersey State Police as a result of a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Boone was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Matthew Mattia was the arresting officer.

On Monday, September 27, 2021, at approximately 8:11 p.m., Patrolman Jeremy Slad conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Route 33. An occupant of the vehicle, identified as Michael Caracappa, a 42-year-old, divorced, male resident of Hoboken, New Jersey, who is employed as a truck driver, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Elizabeth Municipal Court (no bail amount listed). Mr. Caracappa was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the City of Elizabeth Police Department. Patrolman Jeremy Slad was the arresting officer.

On Saturday, September 27, 2021, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a 39-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a member of a homeowners association. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Kyle Earley handled the report.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at approximately 5:50 p.m., a 19-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report being involved in a physical altercation with a male subject, described only as a white male, approximately 50 years of age, with gray hair. The victim reported sustaining minor injuries as a result of this incident, however, did not wish to pursue criminal complaints at this time. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at approximately 2:31 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 522 for a motor vehicle violation. An occupant of the vehicle, identified as Lillian Dubois, a 36-year-old, unmarried, female resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a waitress, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Ms. Dubois was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released on her own recognizance, pending a new court date. An additional occupant of the vehicle, identified as Terrance Crooms, a 52-year-old, unmarried, male resident of Manalapan, who employed as a restaurant worker, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Crooms was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to Freehold Township Police Department. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 1:22 p.m., a 69-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a 2015 Mercedez-Benz was stolen from the driveway of a Percheron Road residence between 10:00 p.m. on September 23, 2021 and 1:00 p.m. on September 24, 2021. The vehicle was reportedly unlocked, with the keys left inside. Patrolman James Joiner handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 12:33 p.m., a 38-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that an unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle while parked at a Buckingham Drive residence during the overnight hours. No items were reported stolen as a result of this incident. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 11:48 a.m., a 52-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that an unknown actor(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and removed personal belongings valued at $40 while parked at a Buckingham residence during the overnight hours. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and secure their personal belongings. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 10:10 a.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that unknown actor(s) had opened an unemployment claim using their pedigree information. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 6:30 a.m., a 19-year-old Manalapan resident reported a 2016 black Dodge Challenger, that was left unsecured with the key fob inside the vehicle, was stolen while parked at a Thomas Drive residence. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and secure their belongings. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report, which is pending further
investigation.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, at 6:45 a.m. an unknown actor, described as a black male in his late teens operating a stolen black Dodge Challenger, received $69.02 in gas from the Exxon Gas Station located at 208 Route 9 in Manalapan and left the scene without paying. Patrolman Brian Cruse handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at approximately 9:47 a.m., a 56-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor obtained personal information of the victim and attempted to withdraw money from their personal bank account.
