MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, all crimes and arrests from Oct. 6 and 12.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, at approximately 6:04 p.m., a 56-year-old Sayreville, Pennsylvania resident reported being threatened at a Taylors Mills Road business by what was described only as a white male subject. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled the report, which is pending the signing of complaints.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, at approximately 5:17 p.m., employees of the Target Department Store, located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that a 39-year-old Manalapan resident shoplifted $258.21 worth of merchandise over the course of three separate dates. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli handled the incident, which is pending the signing of complaints.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, at approximately 5:02 p.m., a 54-year-old Manalapan Resident reported being threatened while at their residence by a delivery driver. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled took the report.

On Saturday, October 9, 2021, at approximately 10:27 p.m., Patrolman Jeremy Slad conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified Randy Amely, a 34-year-old, unmarried, male resident of Woodbridge, who is employed as a chef, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Perth Amboy Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Amely was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeremy Slad was the arresting officer.

On Friday, October 8, 2021, at 4:32 p.m., a 78-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report a wire fraud in the amount of $39,500 committed by an unknown actor via telephone and the internet. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2021, at approximately 6:52 p.m. a 43-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor obtained access to their personal bank account and used it to open up several subscriptions that were paid for via online banking. Patrolman James Guarino handled the incident, which is pending further investigation.

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 4:21 p.m., a 58-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor(s) fraudulently issued a check in the amount of $4,000 from a business account. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at approximately 12:54 p.m., employees of the Best Buy store, located at 15 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that Christopher Francis Deputy, a 19-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male resident of Newark, Delaware, Lakey H. Deputy, a 24-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female resident of Wilmington, Delaware, and Raniyah Jakes Knight, 23-year-old unmarried, female, resident of Wilmington, Delaware, who is employed as a home health aide, had shoplifted items totaling $5,500. All three subjects were placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis was the arresting officer.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at approximately 10:41 a.m., Neat Sadiku, a 61-year-old, married, male resident of Manalapan, NJ, who is employed as a contractor, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Pleasantville Municipal Court in the amount of $750. Mr. Sadiku was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams handled the arrest.
