MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, all crimes and arrests from Nov. 24 to 30.
On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 3:55 p.m., a 68-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor opened a fraudulent cell phone account in the victim’s name. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Everett McNulty handled the report.
On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at approximately 9:41 a.m., Patrolman Mantas Stanionis responded to the area of Route 9 South and Pinebrook Road for a report of a vehicle fire. The Gordons Corner Fire Department subsequently responded and was able to extinguish the vehicle fire. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which appeared to be accidental in nature.

On Monday, November 29, 2021, at approximately 12:28 p.m., a 64-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that an unknown actor(s) gained access to their personal information and attempted to open banking accounts. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.
On Sunday, November 28, 2021, at approximately 7:49 p.m., Patrolman James Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 South for a motor vehicle violation. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Anthony Inzana, Jr., a 47-year-old, unmarried, male resident of South Amboy, who is employed as a delivery driver, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the South Amboy Municipal Court (no bail amount set). Mr. Inzana was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Inzana was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the South Amboy Police Department, after being issued summonses.

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, at approximately 9:28 p.m., a 63-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actor(s) threw an unknown substance on a vehicle that was parked at a Prestwick Road residence. The total estimated damage is unknown at this time. Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Saturday, November 27, 2021, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan resident reported that on November 24, 2021, an unknown actor withdrew $5,000 from the victim’s bank account utilizing a fraudulent check. Patrolman Christopher Schou handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Friday, November 26, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a 72-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) contacted the victim and advised that they were the winner of a monetary sweepstakes prize. The victim subsequently provided personal information to the suspect. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report.
On Friday, November 26, 2021, at approximately 3:54 p.m., a 63-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor had fraudulently altered and cashed a check that had been mailed. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.
On Friday, November 26, 2021, at approximately 10:34 a.m., a 41-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that unknown actor(s) stole a license plate belonging to the victim and utilized the license plates to go through tolls without paying. The license plates were stolen approximately four years ago. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at approximately 11:10 p.m., a 67-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a neighbor. The victim was referred to the Manalapan Township Municipal Court for complaint procedures. Patrolman Hayden Hrymack took the report.
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at approximately 12:29 p.m., a 21-year-old Manalapan Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported unknown actor(s) stole New Jersey license plates from vehicle while in Arizona approximately one year ago. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano handled the report.
