'Daddy Doll' Left at Target Reunited with Manalapan Boy
Social media shares helped reunite a young boy with his "daddy doll", which had been left behind at Target.

A simple post on Facebook reunited a young boy with his military “Daddy doll” on Tuesday after it was left behind in a shopping cart at the Manalapan Target. A good samaritan discovered the doll, left it with Target customer service, and posted a picture of the doll and the information on Facebook in hopes of reuniting the doll with its rightful owner, and it worked.
Michelle McHugh initially posted a picture of the doll on Facebook with the text: “Can everyone please share this picture? I found this little military buddy doll left in a cart at Manalapan Target on Rte. 9. It has the picture of someone's dad and there must be a very upset little kid somewhere! I left it with Target customer service.”
The picture, was shared on Facebook almost 27,000 times.
