Assault, Harassment, Burglary: Manalapan Police Blotter
Manalapan Police reported four incidents of burglary from Nov. 13 through Nov. 19.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of assault, harassment, burglary and more from Nov. 13 through Nov. 19.
Nov. 13
Employees of the Wegmans located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that someone used $240 in counterfeit currency to make a purchase.
A 23-year-old Manalapan resident reported receiving harassing text messages and voicemails from someone they did not know.

Nov. 14
Darrand Royles, 59, of Manalapan, was arrested at a motor vehicle stop on Pinebrook Road for an unnamed motor vehicle violation.
Royles was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and have an arrest warrant out of the Freehold Borough Municipal Court. Royles was brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Freehold Borough Police Department.

Nov. 15
A 29-year-old Manalapan resident and a 66-year-old Manalapan resident reported that they got in a physical altercation resulting in minor injuries while at the Knob Hill Gold Course, located at 1 Shinnecock Drive, Manalapan. No complaints were signed as a result of the incident.
Nov. 16
A 67-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone unsuccessfully attempted to use their credit card.
Employees of the Manalapan Township Library, located at 125 Symmes Drive in Manalapan, reported that someone stole a fire extinguisher from the inside of the building.
Nov. 17
Two people burglarized Vingo Wines, located at 700 Tennent Road in Manalapan, and stole an undetermined amount of cash and property.
A 37-year-old Westfield resident reported that someone unlawfully entered their unlocked motor vehicle while parked at the Battleground Country Club, located at 1 Covenhoven Road in Manalapan, and stole a purse containing credit cards, which were then used at various businesses.
A 23-year-old Middletown resident reported that someone unlawfully entered their unlocked motor vehicle that was parked at a Chatsworth Road address and removed an undetermined amount of property.
Nov. 18
A member of an unnamed non-profit organization reported unauthorized withdrawals of $21,000 from the organization’s bank account.
A 68-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone created a fraudulent debit card and unlawfully withdrew $20,150 from their bank account.
A 60-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone entered an unlocked motor vehicle parked on Saint Andrews Place and stole items worth $445.
A 62-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone unlawfully altered a bank check and unsuccessfully attempted to withdraw funds from their bank account.
Nov. 19
A 66-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.
A 70-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone unlawfully accessed their social media account.
