E-Bike Rider Injured In Manalapan Hit-And-Run: Police
The incident occurred Sunday night near the intersection of Route 9 and Ryan Road, police said.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police are seeking information and witnesses in a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that happened near the intersection of Route 9 and Ryan Road shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday.
According to authorities, the victim of the crash was driving an electronic bike on the shoulder of the road when they were struck by a dark-colored vehicle that looked like an SUV.
The vehicle fled the scene following the crash and continued east on Ryan Road, police said.

The victim of the incident sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to Manalapan Police Capt. Michael Hoppock. Police have not released the name of the victim.
No arrests have been made as of Friday afternoon, Hoppock said.
