Nine fraud incidents were reported to Manalapan Police from Sept. 4 through Sept. 10.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported multiple incidents of fraud from Sept. 4 through Sept. 10.
Sept. 4
Employees of the Target located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that $957.29 worth of merchandise was shoplifted from the store.
Sept. 5
A 58-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded for $18,700 online.

A 56-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded for $418,665.16 online.
A 55-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone tried to fraudulently access their email account.

Sept. 6
A 67-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded for $1,500 online.
A 19-year-old Manalapan resident reported being spit on by someone exiting their vehicle on Route 9 in Manalapan.
A 59-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone stole and forged a check for $230,000.
Sept. 9
A 76-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone making fraudulent charges (amount undetermined) using their credit card information.
Sept. 10
A 59-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone fraudulently obtaining their social security number.
A 36-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone unsuccessfully trying to withdraw $15,000 from their bank account.
A 66-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone pretending to be an Apple customer service representative and then trying to withdraw $1,996 from a bank account.
Victorian Azumatan-Tecu, 49, of Manalapan, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court for $1,500. Patrolman Jake Mann took custody of Azumatan-Tecu from the East Windsor Township Police Department. Azumatan-Tecu was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in place of bail.
