Fraud, Vandalism, DWI: Manalapan Police Blotter

Manalapan Police reported two incidents of fraud from Oct. 9 through Oct. 13.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of fraud, vandalism, driving while intoxicated and more from Oct. 9 through Oct. 13.

Oct. 9
A 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone opening a credit card account in their name. No monetary loss was reported as a result of the incident.

Oct. 10
Josef Yelizarov, 57, of Manalapan, was arrested after Manalapan Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Union Hill Road. Yelizarov was found to be driving under the influence and was arrested and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters. He was processed and released after being issued summonses.

Rudolph Wolfinger IV, 38, of Sayreville, was found to be in possession of a controlled & dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. Wolfinger was arrested and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons.

Oct. 12
A 75-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone vandalized a Craig Road residence on three separate occasions throughout the previous week.

Oct. 13
Michael Mongelli, 38, of Manalapan, was arrested at a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 South for unnamed motor vehicle violations. Mongelli was found to be in possession of a controlled & dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. He was brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on summonses.

A 56-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone fraudulently tried to hire contractors to perform work on a Parkview Way home.
