Manalapan 5K Run On Sunday Will Benefit First Responders
The race will start at the Manalapan Police Headquarters and finish at the Gordons Corner Fire Company Firehouse.
MANALAPAN, NJ — The sunny weather outlook for the weekend ahead is ideal for those planning on attending the First Responder 5K Run/Walk in Manalapan on Sunday.
The race will benefit the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, the Fallen First Responder Program and the Golden Star Family Home Program.
The race will start at 8 a.m. at the Manalapan Police Headquarters, located at 120 Route 520. The finishing line will be at the Gordons Corner Fire Company Firehouse (683 Tennent Road).

Parking will be provided at the Manalapan Recreation Center (across from the start) and in the Towne Point Shopping Center (across from the finish). Runners are encouraged to plan a pickup or return ride, but a shuttle back to the start will also be provided.

Tennent Road will be closed with detours in place from 7:45 to 11 a.m. for the race. Taylors Mills Road will also be temporarily closed from Town Hall to Pease Road to Sandybrook as the event passes through these areas.
