Manalapan and Englishtown Primary Election Guide

What you need to know about voting in today's primary election.

Happy Primary Election Day! Here is everything you need to know about voting today in the Manalapan and Englishtown primaries. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Manalapan

The Manalapan Township Committee has three positions up for grabs in this upcoming election as Deputy Mayor Jordan Maskowitz and Committeeman Andrew Lucas’ three-year term and Committeeman Jack McNaboe’s one year term expires on Dec. 31.

On the Democractic primary ticket, Ryan Urgo and David Goldstein are running for the two open full term seats and Carmen Roque is running for the open one year unexpired term.

On the Republican side, incumbent Deputy Mayor Jordan Maskowitz is running alongside Maryann Musich for the two open full-term seats and incumbent Jack McNaboe is running for the one year unexpired term. McNaboe took the place of Don Holland when he resigned from the Township Committee earlier in the spring.

  • District 2: Community Refuge Church of Christ
  • District 3, 4, 9: St. Thomas More Church Gym
  • District 5, 10, 11, 12, 15: Covered Bridge I Clubhouse Ballroom
  • District 6, 14, 17, 26: Monmouth County Library
  • District 7 and 8: Lafayette Mills School Gym
  • District 16: Covered Bridge II Clubhouse Meeting Room
  • District 18, 21, 22: Knob Hill Country Lanes
  • District 19, 23: Western Monmouth Utilities Authority
  • District 20, 24: Pine Brook Care Center
  • District 25: Manalapan Senior Center
  • District 27: Four Seasons at Manalapan Clubhouse

Englishtown

In Englishtown, incumbents Gregory Wojyn and Lou Sarti are running in the  Republican primary to regain their seats on the Borough Council, which expire on Dec. 31. They have no Democratic challengers in the primary. All voting will take place in the courtroom of the Englishtown Municipal Building.
