Manalapan Events: Tree Lighting, Drive-Thru Light Show, More
Get in the spirit of the holidays by checking out some of these local events, including a drive-through holiday lights experience.
MANALAPAN, NJ — The holiday season is here and Manalapan residents can look forward to festive events in the upcoming weeks.
Starting on Dec. 15, the Christmas tree next to Town Hall will be lit in a ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Santa himself (the special guest) will light up the tree.
The Misfit Theater Company will be there singing carols.

The Manalapan Recreation Center will host a drive-through light show between Dec. 17 and 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The drive-through begins at the entrance to the Dreyer Tract within the Manalapan Recreation Center. Participants will start at the main entrance on Route 522 and exit through the west lot.

An FM radio station will be provided upon arrival so you can listen to holiday music as you enjoy the view.
The last car accepted will be at 6:55 p.m. each night.
On Dec. 19, the Manalapan Township Fire Company will be riding around with Santa in a fire truck.
