Manalapan Woman Allegedly Steals and Sells $15K Worth of Jewelry

A Little John Road woman reportedly stole jewelry and sold it to a variety of different stores throughout Monmouth County.

Caitlyn Busalacchi, 21, of Manalapan was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 27 for allegedly stealing jewelry from Jennifer Busalacchi valued at about $15,000. She was also charged with possession of, and using, drug paraphernalia. 

According a police warrant issued by the Manalapan Police Department, Busalacchi took jewelry without Jennifer’s permission and sold them at various locations throughout Monmouth County.

Busalacchi was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for using a piece of a pen to inhale burned oxycodone, according to the arrest warrant.

Busalacchi’s bail was set at $10,000, which she posted, according to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office. Her first appearance in front of Judge James E. Berube Jr. is scheduled for Jan. 14 at 9 a.m.
