Manalapan's Annual Monster Mania Will Return On Oct. 28

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan's annual Monster Mania is coming back this year on Oct. 28, at the parking lot of the Manalapan Recreation Center.

Although not all the usual events will happen this year there will still be plenty of fun activities for kids ages 2 to 9.

The event will start with a trunk or treat between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The Misfit Theatre Co. will put on a performance of "Hocus Pocus" at 6 p.m.

Finally, at 6:46 p.m. there will be a haunted Halloween trail. This final event may not be suitable for the youngest kids. Participants should line up at the Fitness Traill entrance.

The parking lot is located at Route 522 across from the Manalapan Township Building. It is the first on the left off of the main driveway.

The township also has Halloween fun planned for older residents.

Those interested in building a scarecrow can enter into a townwide contest that will feature their creation in a drive-through attraction.
