Monmouth County Library HQ To Reopen Sunday
The library has been closed since Jan. 2024 due to interior renovations.

MANALAPAN, NJ — The Monmouth County Library Headquarters will officially reopen on Sunday after being closed due to interior upgrades.
The library first closed on Jan. 21 and was anticipated to reopen in May 2024.
During the closure, the library planned to upgrade and modernize the building’s reading and meeting rooms, electrical infrastructure, and ADA alterations to meet the current needs of library patrons.

On Sunday, community members will be welcomed back to the library with their grand reopening concert.
The event will feature “The Chronicles of Rock and Roll,” with opening remarks beginning at 1:30 p.m. and the concert starting at 2 p.m.

Admission to the reopening is free, though seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis.
Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
