Stop & Shop Shoplifters Strike Again
The Manalapan Stop & Shop has been a target for a number of shoplifting incidents.

The Manalapan Police Department is investigating two recent shoplifting incidents from the Super Stop & Shop.
More than $1,000 worth of items, including razors, were stolen from the supermarket on June 29. This is the second time a large amount of razors were shoplifted from the store. On May 16, video surveillance caught two men stealing a shopping cart full of razor blades from the supermarket.
Loss prevention officers from Stop & Shop told police that during the most recent theft, two men entered the store, placed merchandise valued at $1,006.21 into a shopping cart, and left the store without paying.

According to the Loss Prevention Detective, these two men have shoplifted from the supermarket four separate times. Capt. Michael Fountain said the two have not been identified, so there is no way to know that if they are the same men who have shoplifted from the store previously.
Another theft from the store took place on June 15, according to police. A Loss Prevention officer from Stop & Shop told police that a light-skinned man in his late 30s entered the store at around 10:15 p.m. on June 15. The man reportedly filled up a shopping cart with $403.54 worth of items and left the store without paying, according to police.
