Nearly $13K in Jewelry Stolen from Englishtown Auction Vendor

Fourteen rings were stolen from Diakraft LLC at the Englishtown Auction last weekend.

Jewelry was stolen out of a display case at the Englishtown Auction on Sept. 15, according to Manalapan police. Officers are investigating the theft of 14 rings valued at $12,800 from the Diakraft LLC jewelry store at the auction. 

Diakraft's owner, a 52-year-old Indian man from Franklin Park, told police that he thinks that when he walked away from the display a group of people opened the case and removed the tray of rings. The theft took place between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.
