Paradise Flower Shop Work Vehicle Burglarized Second Time

The work vehicle of a Manalapan florist and a car parked at Englishtown Auction were burglarized, police said.

A Paradise Flower work vehicle was burglarized on June 7. This is the second time the business' work vehicle has been a target of theft within two months. 

Entry was forced into the work vehicle and a generator, gas saw, and several work tools were stolen. A North Brunswick man’s wallet was also stolen from the vehicle. All of the items stolen were valued at $1600, according to police. 

This is the second time that the business, located at 100 Route 9 North, has suffered a work vehicle burglary. A Garmin navigation system, phone charger, and a catalytic converter were stolen from the business' work vehicle on May 18, according to police.

Another vehicle was burglarized within the township recently. A car parked at the Englishtown Auction was burglarized on June 8, according to police. A Monroe woman, 70, came into the Manalapan Police Department to report that her black leather Coach purse was stolen from her vehicle at some point between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. while parked within the Englishtown Auction parking lot. Inside of her purse were credit cards and $17 in cash. Everything stolen valued approximately $232, police said.
