Police: Englishtown Resident Sells Heroin to Undercover Cop Twice

Nicolas Scarano was indicted on heroin possession and distribution for allegedly selling the drug to an undercover detective in Englishtown.

Monmouth County grand jurors indicted Englishtown resident Nicolas Scarano on heroin possession and distribution charges stemming from an April arrest, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. 

According to the indictment, Scarano, 31, sold heroin to an undercover detective from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office in the Borough on April 9 and again on April 12. He was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. 

Scarano was just recently indicted in Monmouth County on alleged heroin possession charges stemming from a July 19 arrest out of Englishtown. According to Englishtown police, Scarano was found to be in possession of 47 wax folds of heroin at the time of the arrest. He was also previously arrested in May 2012 for allegedly making a hand to hand heroin deal in Englishtown
