Stolen SUV Dropped Off Englishtown Carjack Suspects: Police
Englishtown police released a photo of a stolen SUV they say dropped off three people now charged with a carjacking in town.

ENGLISHTOWN, NJ — Police say a stolen SUV dropped off three persons now charged with a carjacking in the borough last week, and they have warned residents not to approach it if they should see it in the borough.
Police said the suspects - who were arrested after the car they took was already disabled by a flat tire - were seen arriving in Englishtown in a light gray or silver 2003 Ford Explorer, bearing Pennsylvania registration LZZ6520. They were dropped off behind the Village Center, 14 Wilson Ave., the strip mall that is next door to the Walgreens, police said Saturday.
No description of the driver is available, but there was a woman in the front seat, police said.

The three people charged in connection with the Englishtown carjacking were being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, awaiting a detention hearing, police said last week.
The carjacking took place Wednesday, Nov. 30, at around 9 a.m. A Manalapan woman was sitting inside a 2015 Mazda 3 and was approached by three people who forced her out of her vehicle, Englishtown police said.
The individuals then left with the vehicle eastbound on Gordons Corner Road towards Route 9.
However, the accused parties did not know the victim was waiting for roadside assistance to change a flat tire at the time of the carjacking. Upon noticing the flat tire, the individuals pulled the vehicle into Congregation Sons of Israel parking lot at 33 Gordons Corner Road, police said. Soon after the three were arrested.
