ROOSEVELT, NJ - A single-vehicle crash on a Monmouth County road left an SUV impaled by a guardrail Sunday, authorities said.

The crash, reported at around 4:30 p.m. on N. Rochdale Ave. (CR-571) in the area of box 53 in Roosevelt, resulted in no injuries, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police told Patch.

It was not immediately clear how the crash happened, how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash or how the driver escaped unharmed.

No charges or summonses have been issued as of Tuesday night, New Jersey State Police said.
