Theft, Assault, Credit Card Fraud: Manalapan Police Blotter
Manalapan Police reported multiple incidents of theft between Nov. 7 and Nov. 12.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of theft, assault and credit card fraud from Nov. 7 through Nov. 12.
Nov. 7
A 63-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by someone they did not know over email.
Nov. 8
An employee of Mr. Tire, located at 64 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that someone removed tires from the scrap tire pile and fled the area.

An employee of AT&T cell service at the Verizon Cell Towner in the Franklin Lane Commuter Lot in Manalapan reported that someone removed copper wires and a grounding bar worth $4,000 from the base of the tower.
A 36-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone stole a vehicle worth $1,000 between Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 from the parking lot of a Justin Way home.

Nov. 9
A 62-year-old Laurence Harbour resident reported being assaulted by a 43-year-old Elizabeth resident at the Englishtown Flea Market, located at 90 Wilson Ave. in Manalapan. No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident and no complaints were signed.
Employees of the Crumble Cookie, located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported being defrauded of $1,290.85 over the phone.
Nov. 10
A 50-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone damaged multiple mailboxes on Livingston Lane overnight.
A 67-year-old Farmingdale resident reported that someone stole a wallet and its contents (worth $100) from a purse while shopping at the Marshalls located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan.
Nov. 11
Maurice Hobbes, 44, of Trenton, and Jessica Dixon, 37, of Trenton, were both found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hobbes was also charged with shoplifting $69.99 worth of items from the Target located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan, and Dixon was found to have arrest warrants out of East Windsor Municipal for $1,000, out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court for $550, out of Trenton Municipal Court for $550 and out of Hamilton Township Municipal Court for $1,105. Hobbes and Dixon were both arrested and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters. Hobbes was processed and released after being issued summonses, while Dixon was brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in place of bail.
A 55-year-old Jackson Township resident reported a credit card being stolen from the Quick Chek located at 270 Monmouth Road in Manalapan on Oct. 28. Investigation into the incident resulted in the arrest of Meichel Sedrak, 51, of Monroe on Nov. 11. Sedrak was brought ot Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses for theft of a credit card, fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of mislaid property.
