Theft Of Catalytic Converter From Vehicle Reported In Manalapan
Vehicles targeted again: One has catalytic converter stolen, another has theft of property at Englishtown Auction, Manalapan police say.
MANALAPAN, NJ — A Staten Island resident reported to police that someone removed the catalytic converter from a vehicle while it was parked at a Wilson Avenue property. The report came in on Nov. 16.
In another car-related crime, police said a resident of Totowa reported that on Nov. 19 between 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., a purse, valued at approximately $633.50, was stolen from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Ave. Police routinely advise residents to keep car doors locked.
The matters are being investigated by police.
