Theft, Fraud, Vandalism: Manalapan Police Blotter
Manalapan Police reported three incidents of theft and three incidents of fraud from Oct. 23 through Oct. 29.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of theft, fraud, vandalism and more from Oct. 23 through Oct. 29.
Oct. 23
A 28-year-old Sayreville resident reported that someone took a $150 thermostat from a house under construction on Cloverleaf Lane.
Oct. 24
A 37-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone stealing a package worth $100 from the porch of a Hillcrest Road home.

Oct. 25
A 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone fraudulently withdrawing $3,250 from their investment accounts.
Codi Nicholas, 28, of Wisconsin, was arrested at a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 for an unnamed motor vehicle violation. Nicholas was found to have an arrest warrant out of the Baltimore, Maryland Police Department, as well as arrest warrants from the South Brunswick Municipal Court for $1,500 and the Middlesex Borough Municipal Court for $1,000. Nicholas was arrested and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Oct. 26
A 38-year-old Parlin resident reported someone damaging a vehicle while it was parked in front of a Gainsborough Court home.
Oct. 27
Employees of the Target located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that three people shoplifted $27,452.41 worth of merchandise from the store on Oct. 25.
Oct. 28
A 66-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a 45-year-old Somerset resident entered the screened porch of an Amberly Drive house and used an outlet.
A 55-year-old Somerset resident reported that someone stole a purse and its contest at the Englishtown Flea Market, located at 90 Wilson Avenue. The purse’s contents were valued at $710.
Oct. 29
An 82-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone tried to defraud them over email. No monetary loss was reported as a result of the incident.
A 38-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone gained access to their bank account information. No monetary loss was reported as a result of the incident.
