Trespassing During Early Voting: Manalapan Police Blotter

A man was arrested and charged with defiant trespass after causing a disturbance while early voting took place, Manalapan Police said.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of fraud, trespassing, assault and more from Oct. 30 through Nov. 5.

Oct. 30
A 27-year-old Freehold resident reported that their employer failed to pay them $3,000 in back wages.

An 85-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone defrauded them of $377.10.

Oct. 31
Employees of the Wegmans located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that two people shoplifted $692.21 worth of merchandise.

A 39-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone vandalized property at an Elliot Road home.

Nov. 1
A Monmouth County Board of Elections supervisor reported someone causing a disturbance while early voting took place at the Manalapan Township Library. Police did not specify what the disturbance was. Andrey Borisov, 42, of Morganville, was arrested and charged with defiant trespass. He was brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters, where he was processed and released after being issued a summons.

A 27-year-old Millstone resident reported being assaulted by a 52-year-old Bridgeton resident at the Battleground Deli, located at 203 Freehold Road in Manalapan.

Nov. 3
The owner of Gallery Restaurant, located at 520 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported someone damaging property valued at $150.

Nov. 4
A 31-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded of $1,200 for purchasing a dog that was never received.

Employees of Pine Brook School located at 155 Pease Road reported that someone dumped garbage in the school’s dumpster.

A 55-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded of $18,276.49.

Roberland Gracia-Martinez, 44, of Elizabeth, was arrested after he turned himself in for an arrest warrant out of the Monmouth County Superior Court. Gracia-Martinez was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending future court proceedings.

A 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported being threatened by someone they did not know.

Nov. 5
A 72-year-old Manalapan resident reported someone fraudulently opening bank accounts using their personal information. No monetary loss was reported as a result of the incident.
